About Gryphynclyph and The Force of Life Tarot

Who is Gryphynclyph?

I have always felt the sense of having the gift of second sight. From as far back as memory goes I have had a way of thinking about my surroundings and gleaning what others were about. In my teens I was predicting weather and able to know where things were or what events were coming.

It was on a birthday that a very good friend gifted me my first Tarot deck. I had worked with Pendulums and been fascinated with scrying mostly on simple subjects and had said I was interested in exploring the Tarot.

This is how my Tarot journey started. Decades later, I've mastered the standard practices of divination using the Tarot and further enhanced the accuracy of my readings by developing my own unique spread pattern, "The Force of Life."

What is the Force of Life Tarot?

I initially studied the book meanings and the standard spreads for Tarot. I read books on the histories, the origins and how the symbology from various cultures has been included. How iconic images and themes (the Major Arcana) and the more mundane suits (the Minor Arcana) played out in the overall meanings that would unfold.

I was able to use the cards but felt that something was missing. I wanted more.

While studying philosophies and meditation from eastern and western roots I became more aware of thinking patterns that could influence how we see things that even in knowing about them were so deeply embedded in our natures that they were unable to shake. Not just for myself mind but for those I was doing readings for as well. This led me to experimentation and study on the Tarot as we know it today that took me to my first realization.

After mastering the standard practices of divination using the Tarot and studying the history and symbology behind the cards, I was able to enhance my readings by drawing together my knowledge and experience to create my own unique spread pattern, "The Force of Life."
